This Quran mushaf seemed of really good quality and similar to the Islamic BookStore's Quran mushaf publications in its layout style, cover etc. However upon purchase I discovered that it is very different in its punctuation or stopping rules which are part of the IndoPak font which is known as South Asian script that this Quran is advertised as being. I wondered Is this a legit copy? It says copyrighted to IslamicBookStore but I think it is breaching ownership rights of the South Asian script by changing parts of the script like this as there is only one text with its original punctuation stopping rules etc that ihas been in circulation since it was devised by Taaj Company. This Waaw company seem to have made their own modifications...although when I contacted them they said that they're using what has been provided by IBS. I am awaiting confirmation from IBS if they've indeed given this modified text of the South Asian script.
I won't use it and I have returned it, because it is problematic for this reason that the teacher or student will get confused with these modifications like removing the compulsory stop sign ط, introduction of a new stop sign (قلے) and is noticeable when you read it. I am waiting for my refund, soon insha Allah.
